1. Data controller

2. Data processed when you visit
The main website is generated as static pages and does not provide user accounts, comments, behavioural advertising or profiling tools. The server may temporarily record technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as the IP address, date and time, requested resource, request outcome and browser information.
This information is processed for security, troubleshooting and service protection on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interests. Logs are protected and automatically rotated. Compressed archives are retained for up to 14 days after rotation; because an archive may contain requests made before it was created, an individual record may be older. Logs may be kept longer where needed to investigate a security event or comply with a legal obligation.
3. Aggregate analytics on the public website
We use Plausible Community Edition only on the public information pages. It is hosted on our own server and is not connected to Plausible Cloud. It helps us understand, in aggregate, which content is consulted, where visits come from and how the website can be improved. Processing is based on the controller’s legitimate interest in measuring and improving its information service without profiling individuals.
Plausible stores the hostname and page path, source or referrer, campaign parameters, device type, browser and operating system, approximate location, page views, engagement time and scroll depth. Ordinary page parameters are discarded, except parameters used to attribute a campaign. The IP address and full User-Agent are processed only transiently to derive the approximate location and a daily statistical identifier; they are not stored in raw form. The salt used for that identifier is changed and deleted every 24 hours.
The system does not use analytics cookies, browser cache, localStorage or persistent identifiers and cannot link the same person across different days or websites. It does not collect form contents, WhatsApp messages, booked services, health information or other identifiers; automatic form and outbound-link tracking are disabled. Statistical events and sessions are retained for no more than 24 months and then deleted automatically. Local account settings remain while the service is active or until they are deleted.
4. Appointment requests through WhatsApp
When enabled with a verified number, the form on the Book page runs in your browser. It prepares a message and opens WhatsApp only when you choose to continue. This website does not receive or store the completed fields, and you can review or edit the message before sending it.
The next step takes place on WhatsApp and is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy notice. The pharmacy uses the information you send to answer your request and arrange the service. Do not include diagnoses, symptoms, medicines, prescription images or other health information that has not been requested.
5. Phone and email contact
If you contact the pharmacy voluntarily, we use the information you provide to answer your request, take requested pre-contractual steps, provide a service or comply with applicable obligations. Retention periods depend on the nature of the communication and any healthcare, tax or administrative requirements.
6. Health data
The public website is not designed to collect health data. If such information is required for a service, the pharmacy will explain the appropriate channel and procedure and apply the legal bases and safeguards required by law.
7. Bookings on the dedicated subdomain
prenota.farmaciaverardi.it uses a separate system and must display its own privacy notice before confirmation. The portal may process your name, contact details, selected service and appointment time while avoiding unnecessary free-text health fields. Its cookies are limited to operation and security.
8. Loyalty programme
The loyalty programme is not yet active and its information page does not collect registrations. Before launch, dedicated rules and a privacy notice will be published, with separate choices for membership, marketing and any additional purposes. Any future card check at the counter must not transfer CUP, prescription, booking or healthcare-service data to Verardi Più and must not create points transactions.
9. External links
The website links to external services such as maps, WhatsApp and on-duty pharmacy listings. The external service receives information only when you choose to open its link and is governed by its own privacy notice.
10. Recipients and infrastructure
Technical information may be processed by suppliers supporting hosting, maintenance and security, acting as processors where required. Plausible statistics remain in the controller’s self-hosted infrastructure and are not sent to the Plausible Cloud service. Databases for future bookings and the loyalty programme will not be publicly exposed and will remain separate from the information website.
11. Your rights
Where applicable, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with theItalian Data Protection Authority.
12. Updates
This notice may be updated when services or processing activities change. The version date appears at the top of the page.
